About us
Originally formed on March 14, 1914, the District was created following a petition from local residents. The proposed layout and water supply system were submitted to the Conservation Commission in April 1914 and subsequently approved, leading to the official establishment of the District.

About Sea Breeze
The District operates independently from the Town Board and is governed by three elected, non-political Commissioners. Their terms are staggered so that one Commissioner’s seat is up for re-election each year, with each term lasting three years.
Water for the District is sourced from the Monroe County Water Authority at a wholesale rate, allowing cost savings to be passed directly to residents.
To ensure the highest level of service, the District maintains a 24/7 staff, fully equipped to handle any emergency. The Commission continuously seeks the most efficient and cost-effective solutions to provide residents with clean, high-quality water for both domestic use and fire protection.
